  2. sooner or later, many gazan parents will be faced with the option of handing their kids off because evacuation from gaza is likely to at some point only be offered for children. though given how things are going, mostly because of biden's extremely strong backing of israel's campaign and likely belief in the israeli narrative, I think gaza will be practically entirely depopulated in 4-6 weeks. israel's calculation is going to work, there will be a rate of dying on the egyptian border beyond which either egypt will open, or gazans will push through the border fortifications (given enough hunger, it will be impossible to stop them with any amount of force, which egyptian authorities and security forces will recognise).
