well, cody did also get in trouble for making that yellow cake. I think it's not on youtube anymore and the stuff got confiscated by the FBI.

the luty makes the argument that gun control doesn't work perfectly, but it fails to make an argument against the functionality of ammunition control. generally in countries with strict gun laws, the ammo is just as strictly controlled. and pistol ammunition is less likely to qualify for a legal excuse to have it than shotgun or hunting rifle ammunition.
2
of course it's a firearm. firearms don't have to use cartridges or smokeless powder. muskets are firearms, too.

@BrandonHerrera you can somewhat easily make gunpowder, but you absolutely can not easily make ammunition that functions at all equivalently to commercially available ammunition. you can reload ammunition, you can't make it new. certainly it would be more difficult than making the luty, unless you do very silly stuff like turning individual casings and spending like a day on one round.

@BrandonHerrera I just acknowledged that you can reload ammunition. reloading is not making ammunition. the casing is the hard part.

@BrandonHerrera great job demonstrating the ignorance of americans, incapable of imagining a world with restrictive gun laws while talking about a world with restrictive gun laws!

I find at least half of those to be very non-credible. I'm willing to believe that anything soviet regardless of age may be actually being used - because even if some of those are worth a moderate amount of money, they are normal guns over there, they are the least special. and they are the most likely to be suppliable with ammunition (more so on the russian side, ukraine nodoubt currently has an absurdly large selection of ammo types in service due to the wild mix of stuff they're gifted from many different countries. I also do believe that guns that fulfill a plausibly otherwise underserved function like maxim guns and anti-tank rifles. but soldiers on both sides of this and especially the ukrainians do not live in a bubble untouched by the antiques market. these countries have whole cottage industry of people searching places of battle to dig up WW2 collectibles to sell, apparently it's gained some very negative attention. these guys know that any doreign r WW2 gun is worth good money, and I'm especially confident that they know better than to use any iconic n°°i guns. I think the implausible guns in the pictures are looted from museums or private collections, and they're either just posing for cool pictures, or they're actually taking the pictures to promote the sale of those in particular, or to give the impression that these guys can source that sort of thing, with which to then probably scam would-be-buyers.

more IRS employees are absolutely necessary. the IRS needs to be beefed up to take on the big fish tax avoiders. currently, they are focusing on auditing normal people because the very rich people make their tax avoidance so complex that the IRS can't keep up.
