  1.  @richardhack9830  no, blitzkrieg and the blitz are entirely separate. blitzkrieg is armoured maneuver warfare, it never reached britain. the blitz was a unique name given to germany's bombing and missile strike campaign in england. blitzkrieg is a genuine german loanword, the blitz is fake german (makes no sense and is not used in german).

  2. you making it sound like the nazis were the only one terror-bombing in WW2 did not meet ny expectations of you. the nazis were the oneswho started it in europe, but all sides committed to it to a degreethat would be unimaginable today. if you're curious, look up what a firestorm is.

I had much more of a problem with jake making it sound like germany was the only side of that war engaging in terror bombing. all sides committed to that to an unimaginable degree. the british and americans probably managed to cause the most death and destruction by bombing civilians (excluding japanese bioweapons, the numbers there are very unclear). germany did start it in europe, but when you're firebombing cities with the deliberate aim of creating firestorms, or nuking cities, "who started it" is not a very pertinent question.
