  1. in germany, we had a military scandal where members of the KSK special forces stole I think dozens of weapons and tens of thousands of rounds of ammunition for their neonazi militia (our special forces are the most far right of all our security forces), and when their commanders noticed, they offered and granted the nazi troops amnesty if they just returned the stolen stuff. needless to say, when that eventually reached the public, people were not amused with the commanders' actions.
