  1. unless they're N95 masks, mask mandates don't make sense for deaf schools. cloth or surgery masks don't stop aerosols, only droplets, and given how quietly they're mouthing words in this video, I don't think they're producing any notable amount of droplets that would be stopped by those masks. probably a lot less aerosol by not using their vocal chords, too. the tiny benefit is not worth the communication problem. very cute kids btw! <3
