  1. the discrepancy between how russians and their government talk about their ukrainian "brothers" or the russian-speaking ukrainians they identify as russians on one hand and the brutality against civilians in how they fight this war on the other hand is staggering. I hope we'll see some more interviews with captured russian soldiers about the sort of orders they've been getting now.
