  3. you can probably find out somewhere if you even have a chance to find it in your area. you can also find amber the same way though, which is why ambergris is named amber grease. on baltic sea beaches for example, people have been collecting amber since forever. nowadays tourists are warned against it because there is white phosphorous from WW2 incendiary bombs that looks and floats somewhat amber-like, and if you put that in your pocket, it will self-ignite as it dries. burning white phosphorous is not something you want in your pocket.
