  3. 1:18 are those.... huge glue voids around the edge of that window, showing a remarkably non-flat surface on the metal side of that joint, or am I crazy? even if that joint is somehow only exposed to compression force, that still shows really bad workmanship. and I don't think that it is, as one thing it's certainly exposed to is lateral shear force as the vessel goes through pressure cycles, causing expansion and contraction. a joint that looks like that is going to have a tiny fraction of the strength of one without voids, on flat surfaces.
