  1. "healthy alternative to sugar"? who are you kidding? this is sugar, it has all the health risk of sugar. it just also contains much of a sort of more lightly heated molasses. I'm sure it has some noteworthy nutrients (molasses does), but it's certainly not healthy, since it is sugar.
