  2.  @mateuszcielas3362  not nearly enough. it's not like you draw the smoke through the meerschaum, it just passes by the meerschaum. and it's also prevented from absorbing much by being saturated with beeswax.

  4. there is no brand, these are individual craftspeople. the pipes are either identifiable as from a apecific carver, or from a particular city or country by how they're made.
