actually a lot of shower gels, shampoos etc. contain plastic. many or most of those "peeling" grains are plastic. I think it's because plastic grains have a conveniently similar density to those soap gels, so they stay nicely dispersed in the bottle instead of sinking or rising. it's basically intentional microplastic.

those ingredients sound very expensive for soap. but I'm definitely a fan of bar shampoo and soaps. I always shower with bar soap and I don't understand why some people use shower gel, all the reaching for the bottle is super inconvenient when you can instead just hold a soap bar in one hand and it despenses automatically. if you're making such a big deal out of packaging materials, don't use this shiny lacquer paper... I'm pretty sure that's not recyclable and almost certainly does not fully decay into harmless substances like a brown or white paper/cardboard with select non-toxic ink would. less colourful/shiny packaging would also fit the wnvironmentally-friendly branding, I don't think the consumers would mind. just put some nice prints on it with non-toxic ink, I think there actually is a good selection of colours you could still use, like how there are all sorts of food-colours.
