that was really surprising, but my guess is that the eagle had a neet nearby and really wanted to keep other predators out of the area. I think it probably did scare off the bear because he didn't see it coming so he would be worried about it happening again, and eagle talons are probably strong and sharp enough to kinda hurt a bear.

1:37 since covid is here to stay (upcoming vaccine resistant strains), that drive-in shopping concept seems really plaudiblr now. but probably just in the US, because that country is already built for everybody to drive everywhere.

@dustinblankx188 I said reasonably safe. in this clip in particular, the speed was high, but the free path for the bikes was quite secure due to the cars all blocking each other from switching lanes. and since they were all driving, no doors were going to open. it's an ideal situation for cyclists to pass that close to cars, the distance would need to be increased for parked cars (doors) or for cars that have somewhere their drivers may want to drive them to the left or the right. and in terms of speed, the cyclists in the video were largely independent of the cars - if the cars decelerated or accelerated, the bikes' path would remain free.
