because i-country is a col°nial state, and as such its supposed legitimacy, which to diminish is officially ant°°°°itic in all cases according to the IHRA definition, is a house of cards.

oh, that one?

7:02 sorry, but that is a misrepresentation of a real act of oppression. DCI-P was one in a package of several aid groups who were designated as te°°or organizations (all of course eventually completely vindicated, even according to the US). it seems very unlikely that the administrative state reacted in one day's time to add DCI-P to that list, so most likely its banning had nothing to do with that one case.

I think I saw marione ingram at one of those protests the other day, she is literally THAT °°°. she's from hamburg, germany and survived both the h°°°°aust and the hamburg firestorm (joint operation of UK and US airforces fittingly named "gomorrah") as a child old enough to remember. because she is known for demonstrating for pal°°°°ne, the city of hamburg uninvited her late last year from a tour of school visits she was scheduled to have earlier this year to talk to schoolchildren in hamburg about her experiences and rac°°m. white germans like to complain about germans from turkish and arab/north african immigrant families (large eth°°c min°°ity populations in germany) not relating to germany's big H obsession and philos°°°tism "culture of remembrance". I reckon having some of those kids in particular meet a °°°ish survivor and witness who protests for pal°°°°ne because she recognizes the common humanity and relates to the experiences of oppression and ge°°°°de as well as devastating b°°bardment could have made a real difference. and she is 89, if they push back this plan a year or two, they can't just expect that she'll still be healthy enough to travel from america for such a visit!

big H survivors are largely ignored and used to be mostly looked down upon in i-country. they were blamed for getting themselves into a position of weakness and victimization in the first place. they were even derisively called "sabon", soap, in reference to the well-known myth of human fat from the d°°th factories being made into soap. apparently the term was so popular that it turned into a common vernacular expression applicable to other people or things one wants to insult as meek and overly compliant. and then the same people tell everybody else that to even compare, regardless of any nuance or disclaimer, n°°i crimes with any other or particularly with crimes of i-country is automatically outrageously AS because acknowledging the big H as something comparable to anything else is tantamount to H denial. 😒
