honey bees are in no way endangered. beekeepers face commercial threats, but honeybees as a species are going very strong. what's endangered are many wild bee species, like many other wild insects. worrying about honey bees because "bees are dying" is like worrying about domestic chickens because those penguins are endangered.

let me answer that real quick - no, they have not.

maybe it was a hiveless bee swarm, those aren't necessarily out of reach for a penguin

I like how this guy does a reverse cumberbatch "pengweng" by saying "pinguin" 100% german.

"killer bees" is a term for what beekeepers know as africanized honey bees. they are called africanized because they are modern commercial bee lineages crossed with an african honey bee lineage (to produce a commercially viable bee with higher resistance to varroa mites if I remember correctly). the african type that's crossed in is much more aggressive and the resulting "africanized" cross is more aggressive too. these penguins are in africa, so most likely they encountered african or africanized honey bees. those are domesticated honey bees too, they just have a really bad attitude.
