  1. so you wanted to show the life of one child, and you chose a guy who looks 30? weird choice. he's skinny, but he may have looked like that before, and if 50% of kids are malnourished, he's definitely among the healthier ones. malnutrition is much worse for children who are still growing, due to their greater need for many nutrients to support the tissue generation, whereas adult bodies sustain less damage on a limited diet. this goes so far as preventing brain development in children, as you can see with those kids in yemen who look and act almost exactly like starved babies (can't talk or walk), but are actually six years old.
