  1.  gabrieljean-batiste2006  wow, cool, just straight up lie. that's very popular in youtube comments. it was, technically, afghanistan's money. 100% literally just afghanistan's money. no, it wasn't grant money whatsoever. most of that came from foreign aid, which was the main source of afghan state funding, but it was fully property of the afghan national bank.

  2. the catastrophe was the decision by the trump and biden administrations to abandon afghanistan to an existence under an internationally isolated and sanctioned regime of terrorists trying to recreate the life of a 7th century desert warlord. and the biden administration's theft of $7 billion, almost the entire foreign reserves of the afghan national bank, was a massacre in financial form.

  3. no. the US STOLE 7 billion. 3.5 billion have been officially declared stolen, the other half are supposedly intended for non-existent aid efforts,but there is no difference, it's all stolen. together with the 2+ billion stolen by other countries, those were practically the entire reserves of the afghan national bank, which held very little in afghanistan.
