  2. maybe pay attention, because they said in the video that that's the one legal exception in poland. though it is well documented that strict abortion bans with only the exception of saving the mother's life tend to lead doctors to err on the side of not aborting, and can lead to the death or injury of the mother by refusing or not offering an abortion, or putting it off for too long to let the mother's condition worsen enough for the doctor to feel safe in assessing the pregnancy to be a threat to the mother's life.
