  1. good example of the sad stateof the russian opposition. they just stand up in small disorganized waves and say "here" and get arrested, they have no idea how to effect anything.

  2.  @nads5907  assange, snowden etc. have generally managed to effect change. in russia, people are volunteering to get arrested with no upside, like navalny and kara-murza, who both returned to russia when they knew they would be arrested, and now they're in the gulag instead of at least being able to comment on things publically.
