  1. third time's the charm, maybe this time biden's lie will stick and magically become policy? 😒 the US has NOT made a commitment to defend taiwan, merely a commitment to deliver defensive weaponry to taiwan if taiwan is attacked! they have committed to less support than ukraine is getting and they would provide less aupport than ukraine is getting. it's absurd to believe that america would send troops to fight china when it's not even remotely willing to send troops to fight russia. fighting china presents the same practical threat of nuclear war, a greater conventional military threat, and most of all, neither the US nor any other major country is capable of economically decoupling from china. expecting america to fight china over taiwan is as absurd as expecting germany to send troops to ukraine to fight russia. I WOULD like the US to commit to defending taiwan, but what biden is doing is just lying about it.
