I imagine the last generation got flooded with calls from lawyers wanting to represent them after that, given that the actions of those prosecutors are so clearly unconstitutional judicial harassment and infringement on political rights. the german constitutional court's ruling that the german government has a constitutional duty to do more against climate change than it has been doing has already validated the last generation's cause and the proportionality of their actions. the "criminal organisation" charge alleges that the organisation's primary purpose is the commission of crimes, but clearly its primary purpose is political, and its cause is one on which the constitutional court has already ruled that the government is violating the constitution, and the protesters are the ones demanding that the constitution be respected. for a prosecutor to charge the last generation as a criminal organisation given those facts is almost certainly criminal behaviour. the legal proceedings on this are going to be wild!

  6. oh my god, are climate change supporters dumb... nevermind the tiny amount, burning tobacco is carbon neutral because the carbon comes from the air. there are greenhouse emissions in its production due to the use of various machines, vehicles, fertilisers and pesticides, but that's all the same stuff as with other plant products.

  7.  @CassieAngelica  hi :D really? you predict that people will educate themselves? that seems rather esoteric... I think if anything, perhaps there could finally be a tipping point in the global development of the absurdly rich getting richer (increasing their share of wealth) past which poor people would finally develop an adequate amount of antipathy. but I don't expect it to be a very intellectual endeavour. more like what's going on in france, with plenty of opportunities for fascists to benefit.
