  1. this is garbage reporting. nuclear energy IS climate friendly. gas is NOT. you're focussing on the wrong thing, clearly the greenwashing is the inclusion of gas power plants in this that you're ignoring because that part is the favor to germany. no, nuclear energy is not "extremely hazardous", as it is less hazardous than coal. nuclear waste storage is awkward, but infinitely more managable than climate change. and much of the most potent nuclear waste we have (spent fuel rods) can be reduced by 90+% by making more electricity from it with different reactor types.

  2. the only "green" natural gas powerplants are such that are built to replace gas flaring during oil drilling and utilize that gas instead of wasting it.
