you TOTALLY misrepresented this case by cutting the clip short. these were two sisters (literally an figuratively) who were behaving inexcusably at walmart in front of two pre-school children of one of them, they were screaming, fighting, escalating the whole time, had not just no respect (understandable) but no fear of the cops, and that rather shove-like throat punch was in direct reaction to this one woman trying to bite the cop's arm. it wasn't the most restrained reaction by the cop, but it was midling and easily covered by police rules of conduct. for US police, these cops acted well. this is the best you can expect from a few months of training. 90% of fault lies with those two women, and the mother should be visited by CPS because she has demonstrated a violent temperament, bad judgment, and disregard for her kids' wellbeing by forcing them to watch their mom and aunt conduct a walmart screaming match and then get violently arrested. not a race issue, these are ~people of walmart~

My Mai heinous over the top violence? are you joking? that punch was weak and harmless. there was one punch, no taser, no pepper spray. given how absurdly those two women were acting, that was pretty solid restraint by the cops. and you don't get to pull the race card after demonstrating THAT level of fearlessness owards cops. I'm a white german, cops hardly ever kill people here, and I would never be that belligerent with cops, even though I hate them. those women felt SAFE.

My Mai knocked out? you didn't watch a second more of the video than the clip that was shown here, did you? that punch did nothing more than throw her off balance. my point is that these two women were very clearly LESS afraid of police than I am as a white man in a country with less violent police. you can't act like that and then after getting moderately punched for resisting arrest and trying to bite a cop claim that the police treated you unfairly. not only were the actions by those cops by the book, they didn't even come close to overstepping their mandate. sure, cops in many other countries are much better at deescalating, but then again, most civilians in most countries are not that dumb.

90% of fault in the scufdle between those two women and the cops lies with the women. and please note how one of them has two small children there, and they're traumatizing them by acting this way and forcing a violent arrest.

it actually is. handcuffs do not completely disable people. for example they can still bite, which is what she was trying to do immediately before the punch.
