fentanyl gets mixed in with practically all synthetic drugs nowadays because its extreme potency makes it auper easy to conceal in anything, and very cheap to produce and transport. and because an opioid high principally makes any other high more enjoyable, and fentanyl has the particular "benefit" of having a very short high with strong craving at the tail end, so it makes you likely to redose whatever it's mixed in with, and if you keep redosing fentanyl to avoid the come down, the high frequency of use builds a habit extraordinarily fast.
so basically you can put fentanyl in anything else that's ingested, snorted or injected, it will cost very little, and the result is that the customers think you have the best stuff because it's strong, they increase their use, and if they get properly addicted and still don't realise that it's fentanyl, they likely get tied to buying whatever they think they're buying only from you, because the product from other dealers (unless they too are secretly selling fentanyl) doesn't scratch the itch.
