that helmet is pretty likely to protect his brain and skull to some extent, but the jaw, teeth and face are important too, you know? and some more protective clothing would be smart, too. I really don't care if it's considered cool or not, and he shouldn't either, because apparently he rides well enough that people wouldn't make fun of him anyway. a few decades ago, people laughed at protective gear in all sorts of work places, too. now it's much more widely accepted. why not do the same thing in ghetto racing?
