if i-country actually timed an intensification to coincidewith the superbowl, I think it's actually more insidious than an intent to distract (which is what we saw with the r°pe story vs. the end of the captive-exchange pause and invasion of the south, and with the UNRWA story vs ICJ preliminary ruling). if this is deliberate time-matching, then that is done in the hope that americans will be annoyed by having their superbowl experience disrupted by people complaining about g°za.
