I imagine that if anyone ever used one of these, the selection system for which guy got the honour was a contest to compare the distance that they could throw a heavy object approximating this weapon in a fully loaded state. I imagine the results of most contestants would have been remarkably unimpressive (if you told them what they were simulating).

  2. I feel like they should have made this with a blank magazine, but single-loaded grenades. I can't imagine someone ever putting multiple grenades in it.
