  2. how bizarre to put work into assembling a revolver and a dagger into one, when all itachieves is to make both worse! just carry a dagger or sword in an appropriate sheath or scabbard, and try to get a holster that can very quickly secure the revolver I'm thinking maybe some flexible downward-diagonal strut that hooks into a part of the revolver like a ratchet tooth and needs to be pushed aside to draw it. but even holding the revolver in one hand and a dagger in the other would be better than the bayonet revolver!
