  2. very cute, but this video pretty much undoes the good this guy does by inadvertantly advertising keeping monkeys as pets. if this video makes anyone buy a monkey, legal or illegal, that raises the trade value of pet monkeys, including wild-caught ones.

  7. there's one species of armadillo that's especially good at getting killed by cars because its defense mechanism is to jump, and that makes cars hit them head on instead of having a chance to pass over the armadillo between the wheels (though this also wouldn't be harmless at high speeds due to changes in air pressure under the car).

  8. I suppose it's lucky that the herd left them, becuse the herd would have endangered the rescue. but on the other hand, that mother and calf needed to rejoin the herd quickly, because they would have been vulnerable to predators.
