@tomfields3682 They took down the Park East. I was in college in Milwaukee when it was taken down. The Freeway to the Pick 'n Save lol. I'm talking about the Stadium Freeway north of 94. It just...ends at Lisbon Ave. Also there's the Fond du Lac Freeway (WI 145) on the north side that also just...kind of ends. Both were part of cancelled freeway projects. 145 was to connect with both the Stadium Freeway and the Park East (which was also signed 145) but was never completed. The Park East & what is now I-794 would have formed a loop around downtown. And I believe that The Lake Freeway/I-794 was where they filmed Blues Brothers. For a long time it was just a stub-end freeway with no connection to the Hoan Bridge. They're currently looking at taking it down and replacing it with a surface boulevard like they did with the Park East.
