  1. The only way to live in a 0 carbon footprint is to live the life we had before we discovered efficient and cheap energy (basically oil & coil) . At that time we had wood made mechanical windmill, wood made sailboat , cows as a tractor, little food in our plates with almost no meat , etc .. but life was much harder, because energy (so what is needed for machines) is confort , so less energy is less confort . To summarize, the solution is simple (many people try to live like this, like Rob Greenfield), but it is just impossible to implement on large scale (we are now too many people on earth). So the truth is that humanity is going to an end. You'd better try to prepare the future (dictatorship,wars, famines etc.) than to think that politicians or technologies would save us. Only American people who love business like Bill Gates or Musk would make you think that . So a good job for the future would be military because they would be the only one to have food to eat, weapons to defend themselves, and organisation to survive . Sorry guys if truth hurt. But yeah, meanwhile, hope is needed to control population ...
