  5. I don't think that he was ever charged but they still have to investigate to make sure that it was justified. They'd probably get a lot of grief from the families of the "victims" if they just let it go without an investigation.

  7. Its called Felony Murder. It's actually a very interesting murder statute. Basically the premise is that if you commit a crime and someone dies, even if you aren't the shooter, you are held as responsible for that death as if you pulled the trigger yourself. Bunch of people rob a bank and someone dies, everyone who committed the robbery is held responsible, that sort of thing. In this case, she was a part of the crime where her three accomplices died so she is held responsible due to being part of the underlying crime.
