Comments by "Son of None" (@SonOfNone) on "Abortion ruling ‘misinformation’ being spread by left media: Montana Senator" video.
The people did vote on "it" when they voted their representatives of the legislature into office. Just as Congress passes laws without each law requiring federal votes, or executive orders being enacted without federal votes. Don't be silly.

@titaniusanglesmith6177 Tell me where, exactly, the Constitution affords or protects a right to abortion. The bible is irrelevant in this, as there is separation of church and State.

@promethiac2641 What makes you think YOU aren't already experiencing such a thing?

@titaniusanglesmith6177 This isn't a federal ban; it simply kicks the decision to the States. This fallacy of federal minority is meaningless, just like when people complain that a president was elected without the popular vote. It's now a State's issue, not a federal one. That's literally the decision that was made. Stop being silly.

@spinfrost Can a person on life support exist without it? So do they lose their right to life, and all other rights because they are ill?

@spinfrost I said no such thing. My question was intended to illustrate that your conclusion that because a fetus depends on a mother that it isn't alive is incorrect, or incomplete at best. The definition of "alive" is not even necessary. The issue that makes this so contentious is Human life. A Human fetus is a human life. That it depends on mom makes it no less alive.

@titaniusanglesmith6177 Governors don't legislate anymore than the President, but okay. Notice you had to move the goalposts of your original post from a federal impact to a swing state impact? You're being silly.

@spinfrost So then if some do and some don't, it makes the argument of dependence on a mother negating "being alive" moot. Your assertion is now baseless, unless you have some other argument as to why a fetus would not be considered "alive."

@OtayBuckwheat They don't interfere with your internal organs- you interfere with your internal organs when you abort a fetus. The government interferes with your interference of a baby being born, perhaps, if you want to take the perspective of government interference.
