  1. Religious people attack and ridicule people? That's quite a bigoted statement when you consider how many Muslims, Jews, and Christians (let alone all the other denominations) are in the US. They can't all be as discriminatory as you claim, but you seem eager to discriminate against ALL of them. Quite intolerant of you.

  2.  @rsellers7090  Nothing is being done legally via religion, whether Christian, Jewish, or Muslim, or any other denomination. History proves we ALL have bloody pasts, again, whether religious or not. Besides, history is not a pretext to deprive anyone of their rights, let alone to seek vengeance. I hope in time you can come to be more tolerant of others, not only for the sake of humanity, but for your sake too. Good luck in life, friend.

  3. The US is secular in its laws. It has a judeo-christian founding, sure. But it's laws are neutral to religion, except insofar as protecting the rights of its citizens to express themselves religiously. Perhaps that's too much for you to comprehend, but that makes it no less true.

  4. "Religious spaces" were separated from "retail and other essential spaces" in the opening to this subject. It implies Forbes editors don't believe religious institutions/functions are essential. One only need look as far as the First Amendment of the US Constitution to recognize religion is essential, being placed in the number 1 spot along with free speech and expression. Whether you're a religious person or not, you don't get to define for others whether religion is essential. A Christian cannot define mosques or synagogues as non-essential anymore than the other way around. The same is true for agnostics and atheists defining religious spaces as "non-essential." Had it not been in the Constitution, perhaps legislators and judges could legislate or interpret the law however they saw fit, but it's quite cut and dry. Such revisionists need to be called out and kept from offices of power, lest they abuse them and the public.
