The thought process is that if we have Tactical Nuke in Turkey then Turkey has no reason to desire to get nukes for themselves. However, under Erdogan they have been working towards a nuke capability. About 30 days ago Erdogan proclaimed that Turkey should acquire nuke ability. As I am sure you heard our president was all over this as was Faux news - oh you didn’t hear this from our Treasonous president or Faux news? How odd. But back to the point. The nukes have no bearing on the Kurds. The tactical nukes provide no value to the US. The only reason TT pulled the troops was to protect his investments in Turkey. Had he “stood his ground” as all Republicans claim you should (huge irony intended) Erdogan would have done nothing.
