  1. Phillip S These agencies told the truth about WMDs in Iraq, but the Truth is not what Rumsfeld and Cheney wanted to hear, so they by passed the experts and formed their own Intel. There are numerous good books and articles out there to read on this subject. For me, the magic moment(s) came from reading numerous articles in The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal. Many articles cast huge doubt on what Bush and gang were reporting. As a military man I wanted to believe the president, but as an intelligent person the facts made my alarm bells ring load and clear.

  2. Phillip S Best book on the subject is: Fiasco: The American Military Adventure in Iraq Hardcover – July 25, 2006 by Thomas E. Ricks (Author) It was the president and his advisors who lied not the Intel people. Don’t let another president lie to you or a person appointed by the president.
