  1. So if Democrats have not moved on the political spectrum, but Alt Republicans have, does that make the Dems farther left? Alt Republicans have shifted far right on the spectrum. The proper word Is Fascism. In economic terms fascism supports Oligarchs (AKA 1%). In the time of FDR (a Republican) we called them Robber Barons. This is the type of system Russia has migrated to, Oligarchs. The State picks, and sanctions, who will be the winners and losers. So back to my point. It is not that Democrats have become more “leftist”, it is that Alt Republicans have become more “rightwing”. Unfortunately, from history, we all know were that leads.
