I think you need to re read my post. Secondly, think you need to read some history on Iran, America, and the Shah.
Here is a small taste:
Mohammad Mosaddegh was the 35th prime minister, democratically elected, of Iran. He held office from 1951 until 1953, when his government was overthrown in the 1953 coup d'état orchestrated by the United States' Central Intelligence Agency. We, America, imposed a very brutal Monarch the Shah Reza Pahlavi.
Mohammad Mosaddegh's voice
Recorded in the National Consultative Assembly from the Library, Museum and Document Center of Iran Parliament
An author, administrator, lawyer and prominent parliamentarian, his administration introduced a range of social and political measures such as social security, land reforms and higher taxes including the introduction of taxation of the rent on land. His government's most significant policy, however, was the nationalization of the Iranian oil industry, which had been built by the British on Persian lands. Mosaddegh felt his country should get more than 10 cents a barrel for their oil - the British felt he should pound sand and be happy he got anything.
Many Iranians regard Mosaddegh as the leading champion of secular democracy and resistance to foreign domination in Iran's modern history. Notice secular Democracy. We tossed out democracy for a brutal Monarch. This is why we are still reaping the seeds we sowed and Iran is still screwed up.
