@loopthetube Kavenaugh said very clearly that Roe v Wade was decided law not to be overturned.

@andrewpriester6994 “And one of the important things to keep in mind about Roe v. Wade is that it has been reaffirmed many times over the past 45 years, as you know, and most prominently, most importantly, reaffirmed in Planned Parenthood v. Casey in 1992,” Kavanaugh said.

@andrewpriester6994 Precedent is the "anchor of law," Gorsuch said. “ I will would tell you that Roe v. Wade, decided in 1973, is a precedent of the United States Supreme Court. It has been reaffirmed” In the exchange, Gorsuch acknowledged that the Supreme Court had held that a fetus is not a person for the purposes of the 14th Amendment's due process clause, a legal underpinning of Roe v. Wade. "Do you accept that?" asked Durbin. "That is the law of the land. I accept the law of the land, senator, yes," Gorsuch replied.

@andrewpriester6994 "It is settled as a precedent of the Supreme Court, entitled the respect under principles of stare decisis," Kavanaugh said. "The Supreme Court has recognized the right to abortion since the 1973 Roe v. Wade case. It has reaffirmed it many times."

@andrewpriester6994 "Judges can't just wake up one day and say I have an agenda — I like guns, I hate guns, I like abortion, I hate abortion — and walk in like a royal queen and impose their will on the world," Berrett said.

@andrewpriester6994 “I do think that it is a jolt to the legal system when you overrule a precedent. Precedent plays an important role in promoting stability and evenhandedness," Roberts said. Some abortion-rights activists have worried that a decision to overturn Roe v. Wade could lead to an erosion of other related rights — like women's access to birth control, which was first established in a Supreme Court decision called Griswold v. Connecticut. "I agree with the Griswold court's conclusion that marital privacy extends to contraception and availability of that," Roberts said in 2005, adding that he felt "comfortable" commenting on the case because "it does not appear to me to be an area that is going to come before the court again."

@stevenparrish2290 To be honest, I would prefer that Democrats & Republicans would expend more resources on Birth Control than Abortion. No pregnancy no abortion. I would also like to see society make this the sperm donors problem as much as the woman’s problem. Having said that, I do not choose to impose my will on others when it comes to abortion. A quick internet search shows the worlds major western countries limiting abortions to 15 - 20 -24 weeks for elective abortions. Any of these would be acceptable to me.

@blintzkreig1638 By the way, trying to OVERTHROW an incoming duly elected President is HIGHLY UNCONSTITUTIONAL yet you don’t seem to be bothered by it?
