Previously, he also served as the Principal Associate Deputy Attorney General with the U.S. Department of Justice. On January 12, 2023, Attorney General Merrick Garland appointed Hur to the role of Special Counsel responsible for investigating President Joe Biden's handling of classified documents found at Biden's home and at the Penn Biden Center.

@Eilen62 But the DOJ is in Trump’s pocket, he just wants you to think it’s in President Biden’s pocket. With you believing the DOJ is in Biden’s pocket Trump’s plan works and he gets more $$$ from supporters and his Republican polling numbers go up. Every one knows, because Trump told them, that he is a “Stable Jenius” and can warp time & space (his Uncle went to MIT) with the mass of his @$$.
