Trump was so bad with flushing documents, he did not want archived, that his staff would try to prevent him from taking documents to the bathroom.

His staff testified that it was a constant battle with Trump to keep him from shredding, tearing up, or flushing incriminating documents he did not want to be archived per law.

  4. Trump was notorious for flushing incriminating documents down his WH toilet and choking the pipes. Not only did he do this at the WH, he would do this at foreign hotels while overseas. It got so bad that his staff would intervene to stop him from taking documents to the bathroom.
