Not because he is not guilty (any impartial jury would convict on the evidence) but because Republicans no longer have a moral backbone. As for your Civil War, please read up on the horrors of our last one. Depending on how you attribute war deaths approximately 640,000 to 860,000 died - equal to approximately 2 out of every 10.
