  3. the thoughtful peanut You need to pay closer attention as to how medical scientists state their message. If you listen there are a multitude of things you got wrong with your post. Depending upon the type of mask it is effective or not effective for coronavirus. If it is a N95 type mask it works. However, there is such a shortage of theses masks the experts don’t want Joe panic to hoard them. Regular, masks don’t filter out Coronavirus, but there is some evidence they may stop, while fresh, you from passing diseases to others. There is plenty of good articles out there if you care to READ. What I posted here is too brief and incomplete, so you should research RELIABLE sources to READ. P.S. Edited msg.
