  2. Ugo Yes indeed our country is a Constitutional Republic - most of us just say a Democracy. And yes those people who met on top of Stone Mountain, with funny white hoods were Southern Democrats - sometimes called Blue Dog Democrats. But what became of these bigoted, racist, Southerners? The short answer is that in the 60s they became Republicans. Why you ask? Because Northern Democrats and some Texas Democrats (LBJ) supported Civil Rights. Why do you think that almost all Southern Governors, Representatives, and Senators are rabidly Republicans now. History is a strange thing and now you know the rest of the story. Check me out read the history for yourself - racism in the South didn’t change but the Party’s did.

  5. Ugo The Kurds did all the fighting with ISIS for us. We provided the air power they provided the lives - over 10,000 lives. The Kurds are the best, most decent, and fair allies we have ever had in the MiddleEast. It is a tragic shame we betrayed them.

  6. Ugo We could have left the Kurds in a much better position and let Russia and Turkey know we will not tolerate any intervention. Instead, Trump Cut a deal with Putin and Erdogan and betrayed the Kurds.
