@harleyhuff1686 I have already read this, notice that this is specific to a deposition. Also notice that there is no hearing requirement that a fact finding hearing be a Deposition - see: Cov & Burlington . Com LLP Congressional Investigations and the Rules of the 117th Congress. A witness can be placed under oath and be held accountable for their testimony. Also, note that the House Committee does not have the power of judge and jury (no criminal enforcement powers). The Committee can refer Criminal Charges to DOJ to investigate further but can bring no charges themselves. Therefore, what is most important is that Hunter testify, under oath, in public, so that everyone can judge for themselves the truth of the matter. Committee Chair Comer has ALREADY BEEN CAUGHT LYING, MISS-INFORMING, & DOCTORING THE TRUTH AT LEAST 6 TIMES. LET THE SUNSHINE IN AND LET TRUTH TAKE ITS COURSE.
