If you were an economist you would know that it takes a minimum of 18 - 24 months (or longer) to get inflation off the ground. Who was president back then?

@andrewpriester6994 You don’t just flip a switch and your policies take immediate effect. Come on Andrew, use your head. Just as Treasonous Trump benefited from Obama’s 8 years of economic policy for his first 2 years, Biden is suffering 4 years of Failed Treasonous Trump policies.

@Kill-The-Architect187 For at least the 1st two years that would be a fair statement, regardless of who was/is president. Take for example 2008, Obama became president at the very apex of the coming Great Recession that became the 2008 Financial Crisis. The ground work for 2008 was 10 years in the making for a complete and total lack of regulatory oversight by our President’s, Congress, and our Regulatory Agencies. 2008 was a prime example of Free Markets gone Rouge with zero oversight. So Clinton & Bush share the blame. Bush more so than Clinton as the hazard of Derivatives in the Mortgage Market were by then recognized by more and more people sounding the alarm, yet were ignored in Favor of the “Free Market Always knows best”.
