@ericwelsh4853 By the way, your response is poorly structured. I think you meant to say: 1st Rule of not falling for Fascism is to think first and not fall for gaslighting and propaganda. In which case you failed your own advice by watching Faux news, a known source of propaganda and gaslighting.

For example, “Draining The Swamp” was a method of drawing attention to false charges of corruption while engaging in corrupt practices typical of fascist politics. History shows that time and again Fascists use anticorruption campaigns as cover for for fascist power grabs. Fascist politicians characteristically decry corruption in the state they seek to take over but are inevitably more corrupt than those they seek to defeat. Maga ✅

@burnedagain6187 America started growing South when Newt Gingrich decided that morals, truth, and a better America for all was less important than power. You can argue all day about Conservative values and Liberal values but in the end both have their place and there benefits to society. However, what Newt started, and Trump pegged the meter on, is Cancerous to our American Democracy. What the Republican Party has devolved into is a mild form of Fascism that is quickly metastasizing into a not so mild form of Fascism - take J6 for example.
