  1. The Senate Intelligence Committee issued a bipartisan report concluding that the Russian government interfered in the 2016 election with the goal of helping to elect President Trump. In conjunction with the release of that report, Republican Senator Richard Burr said that there was no reason to dispute the intelligence community’s findings, which were based on “strong tradecraft” and “sound analytical reasoning.”

  2.  @Scumbagballless  Clinesmith pleaded guilty last summer to altering an email that one of his colleagues used in preparing an application to surreptitiously monitor former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page during the bureau’s 2016 investigation of Russia’s election interference. CLINESMITH MADE A ERROR IN JUDGEMENT TO PROCEED WITH AN INVESTIGATION HE FOUND TO BE A NO BRAINER, AND FOR THAT HE IS JUSTLY PUNISHED. BUT DO NOT CONFUSE CLIENESMITH’S ERROR WITH PAGES INNOCENCE AS HIS OFFERING TO WORK FOR THE RUSSIANS AND HIS CONTACTS ON BEHALF OF THE TREASONOUS TRUMP CAMPAIGN ARE WELL DOCUMENTED.
