@daveruckert7926 Just looked it up, most small Red Towns in Texas have a far higher crime rate than most large Texas Cities. The trend seems to be that the more rural and Ag related areas produce the morst crime per 100k in population. Of course, these Red Rural Areas are also poor.

@MrEkzotic Always make sure you are using a stat that is in a unit, for example crime per 100K in population. If you don’t you will get bogus numbers such as a town of 2 people having a crime rate of 50% if 1 person commits a crime. Another example of a statistical fallacy is that a City of 3 million will have more crime than a town of 2 people even with a 50% crime rate. Why, because 3 mill is a much larger sample than 2. Always, always, always, compare units of the same value.
