Travis Russo Trump blocked Chinese Travel to the US (pay very close attention to my words) on Feb 2nd. However, the Travel Ban did not Ban all others - just the Chinese. Over 40,000 people (mostly Americans) made the trip back and forth to China in the month of February. None were quarantined, none were screened, none were tested, etc. So essential Trump made a half hearted attempt to look like he did something. However, the virus had been in the U.S. from early January on and continued to spread and circulate in our larger cities and some resort communities. So it was a bit like applying a bandaid to a severed artery and not calling 911.
