TheGreekSpawn You're fucking delusional. The only "truth" that "Marxism" has ever carried is mass murder.
2
utubrGaming Yeah, bullshit. The standards were lowered so much that those ranger tabs aren't worth the thread used to make them. There is zero chance a female can legitimately pass Ranger school. It's a biological impossibility. Thanks Obama for turning the Rangers into a joke.
2
Dee Huff Bullshit. If females can't even pass USMC recruit training without having their own special training battalion and standards, how the hell are they going to pass a standard where most INFANTRY soldiers don't make it? Next you're going to tell me that there are legitimate female Raiders.
2
***** Yeah... Claiming that the core of socialism is "democracy and freedom" is like claiming that the core of Nazism is equality and the rule of law. Socialism killed more people in the 20th century than war.
2
***** Irrelevant. We live in a country where individual rights trump popular votes.
2
***** Yeah... Keep dreaming you commie fuck. In the US my rights trump popular votes. Oh, and "free shit" is not a right.
2
Viscount Because the taxes spent on their degrees will never be repaid when they live on welfare for the rest of their lives.
2
Armyan1988 Try again over 90% of them were killed by other Iraqis. The invasion of Iraq was one of the most bloodless wars in human history.
2
+Ufuk Alpaslan So reporting on events is not "encouraging"? Really? I don't like a lot of VICE's bias, but a free press is the core of any democracy. Even the DPR rebels treated VICE reporters better than this. As for the IRA, and the "niggas"... Yeah... Please tell me how people who are kept live by government money are being "oppressed"...

+droid monkey Crude oil won't run out for at least another century. The simple fact is that the price of oil is tanking because new extraction methods have opened up deposits larger than anything previously exploited.
2
Cynical Zombie Yeah, except that the only way they passed is by lowered standards. Basically, by having women in Ranger school, you're basically requiring some of them to pass and in order for that to happen, they need to lower standards to the point of irrelevance. No biological female can EVER pass Ranger school without the standards being lowered. It's a biological impossibility. Why? Ranger school is designed to destroy MEN with the fitness of Olympic athletes. Do you honestly think women can compete with men who outweigh them two to one?
2
***** Yeah, only commonly available info and years of prior service experience. Nothing important. But please, show me data on recycle rates for Ranger school for say... 2005. I'd bet that it's a lot lower.
2
manzilla48 Can you name the same in the US? Real ones, not ganbangers shooting other sub human lowlives.
2
bilbo knows 133? You're counting ganbangers as human now? I call them shooting each other a public service.
2
Onixpected (DeFy Touch) Oh look, another "source" with the credibility of a cocktail napkin. HINT: If you start with the bullshit that guns don't make you safer, you're going to have a bad time.
2
Brick Tamland Yeah... Good luck with that. This isn't COD.
2
It's actually a fairly balanced report. I like that the only people citing science were the ones that supported GMOs. There's a reason for that. Fears of GMOs are no more legitimate than fears of vaccines. Less so, in fact as both have tremendous benefits to society while only vaccines have any data showing any negative side effects in humans. (Side effects that are so rare as to be statistically irrelevant, especially when balanced against the benefits of mass vaccinations.) For everybody worried about companies deliberately hiding data... Please explain the logic that would cause a company to see poisoning their customer base as profitable. Dead people don't eat.
2
Helen Russell That's cute... It's nice to see that the UK education system has gone so far down hill that you're papering over how badly you got your asses kicked by a bunch of "colonials"... Keep dreaming the dream limey.
2
Morti 1 ... Ok... Thanks for proving my point. The Nazis got MORE powerful in the 20s, not less.
2
MikhailZavarov Or better yet, let the terrorists play the guessing game. They don't know who on a plane may be packing a Glock on their hip until they try something and wind up with high velocity lead poisoning.
2
***** Public accommodations are a thing. Property rights do not trump civil rights when you hang out a shingle. That's settled law.
2
***** Got an argument to make libertard? By hanging out a shingle and opening your business to the public, you wave your right to decide who you will and will not serve.
2
Samatar Ahmed No, I'm a USMC combat engineer with an aerospace engineering degree. I've forgotten more about warfare than you know.
2
***** They actually are already made to be highly impact resistant. Far more so than most brands of "bulletproof" glass.
2
***** http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/tsa-missed-95-percent-of-weapons-explosives-in-security-text/article/2565360 The TSA couldn't protect an airport from a well motivated group of Boy Scouts.
2
Moduhlize Depends on the type of material used. If you're talking lexan... Yeah... There's also numerous types of artificial sapphire and aluminum oxides. (Yes, transparent aluminum is a thing now.)
2
Moduhlize We're talking about HANDGUN rounds here. They can be stopped by freaking FIBERS. Why? Because sectional density is a thing. The surface area of the bullet is too large to effectively penetrate barriers given the available energy. What's more, this situation is made even MORE problematic by the fact that self defense ammo is designed to have a HIGHER sectional density than what is found in ball rounds. On top of all that, these rounds are designed to EXPAND on contact with a barrier thus reducing their ability to penetrate even more. I hate to break this to you, but the windows on airliners are DESIGNED to withstand impact from debris coming at them at handgun round velocities (or damn near there). The only way to penetrate a window like that is a short range impact at a perpendicular angle. Something that is 1. Not likely, and 2. Does not cause a catastrophic failure even then.
2
Moduhlize Other than, you know, the 2nd amendment.
2
Moduhlize Yeah... No. By that logic I should be able to declare my business a "civil rights free zone" and bring back slavery. So sorry. Fundamental rights don't work that way.
2
Moduhlize Irrelevant. A right is a right. The type of business does not negate rights.
2
Moduhlize Keep thinking that as we roll back gun control across the country and destroy the TSA via a conservative SCotUS.
2
Moduhlize Yeah... Good luck with that. The difference between guns and Islam is that Islam is an ideology. You can kill an ideology. You can't kill an idea.
2
Moduhlize Oh really? Seen a lot of Zoroastrians or Gnostics around have you?
2
Moduhlize Wow... Way to miss the point. What do you think a crusade is?
2
Moduhlize Yes... We'll replace Islam with something that doesn't glorify child molestation and mass murder.
2
Moduhlize Wow... and you call ME "unrealistic"... How about we start with the people driving trucks through crowds?
2
Moduhlize Yeah... Good luck with that. I'm sure militant atheism will take off any day now.
2
Moduhlize ... and that is why you fail.
2
Moduhlize Because you lack the inherent humility of knowing that there are ultimate consequences for your actions.
2
Moduhlize Yeah... Christianity has our crazies under control, Islam is encouraging theirs. If you don't see the difference between refusing to make a gay wedding cake and throwing gays off of buildings, you are seriously fucked in the head.
2
Moduhlize So the fact that Lanza was "christian" should completely negate the fact that religion was not in any way related to his behavior while Islamic terrorism is encouraged by Islam? Really?
2
Moduhlize Except that the core of modern Christianity is the New Testament, not the Old Testament. If you're going to use the Old Testament as your ballpark your issue is with Judaism, not Christianity.
2
Moduhlize Yeah... Keep thinking that. Modern science does not disprove God, only gives us a peek at his tool box. Not to mention the fact that modern western social norms of behavior are almost 100% derived from Christian teachings.
2
Moduhlize Yeah... Keep thinking that. Which one of us has a law degree and an MBA.
2
Moduhlize Yup... Early 30s. Make more than your entire family combined.
2
Jeremy Morrow What "punishment"? Child birth is a natural part of the female life cycle. At worst, it's a minor seven to five month inconvenience (when you first notice changes due to pregnancy) weighed against the life of a human being.
2
Kris Stout Simple. Not my financial responsibility. You made the kid, you take care of it. Murdering your child for your convenience is immoral regardless.
2
Harvey Rabbit My founding principle is simple. Murder is wrong. Life begins at conception. There can be reasons for justly taking human life, but convenience (responsible for 99.99% of abortions) is not one of them.
2
Harvey Rabbit You mistake the legal definition for the moral. By your definition the Holocaust was not murder. I really hope your students get their money back because you're a fucking moron who can't even be bothered to read his opponent's responses. But then again, what do you expect from someone stuck not only in an ivory tower, but in a online version there of?
2
***** Ah, yes... Polytheism... How has that worked out historically? Oh... Wait...
